Daniel is a multi-talented performer and coach. He
performs live on Saxaphone, Keyboards and Bass with some of Australia's
and overseas finest funk, soul and jazz musicians.
He has worked for the Amp'd Up Program in partnership
with Oxygen 4 2, Ellaways Music, QUT and Blackbeat radio. As a music coach
Daniel imparts songwriting, performance and recording skills and was part
of a team of 4 industry mentors who facilitated a program for grades 9-12
at Glenala State High School in Feb 2004 in association with the Australian
Music Association, the Brisbane City Council, AAM and Education Queensland.
Daniel has been an active part of the 'Singing Christmas Tree' musical
aired to thousands across Australia each year via the Southbank Piazza.
When not coaching for creAcTiVE Daniel is busy producing
for local performances or teaching via coaching sessions to the public
and companies who need to acquire skills in the music field.

Mick Melit has been involved in music and music education
for most of his
adult life. His many and varied roles have included employment as a
professional singer and guitarist, guitar teacher at various schools and
his
own private studio, as well as Music Coach for Weekend Warriors, Music
Coach for Boardroom Blitz at Brisbane Entertainment Centre and more recently
as chief music Coach for creActive at Brisbane Powerhouse.
Mick is a registered teacher with years of experience
with students from Year 1 to 12 and relates well with adults in his role
as a music coach.
As a professional musician he has enjoyed sharing
the stage with the likes of Phil Emmanuel, Frankie J Holden, Renee Geyer,
Maria Dallas, Marty Rhone and has played thousands of gigs including venues
such as ANZ stadium, Brisbane Entertainment Centre, Brisbane and Gold
Coast Convention Centres.
As a songwriter and sound engineer Mick has
extablished a small but busy production company, musicmel productions
with an extensive catalogue of original music where he is producing songs
for various Brisbane artists and organizations and individuals requiring
specialized skills in music production.

Louis Oberleuter
With 21 years experience in the music industry, including
15 years in broadcasting, Louis is well-placed to guide participants through
the music-making process.
Louis is the Director of Blackstar Media and Entertainment,
a multimedia company, audio production facility and record label serving
local artists. Blackbeat started as a 2-hour radio show and grew to partner
with Brisbane City Council in developing music strategies for youth. Louis
also built 'Groove FM' over 5 years to a 12 week 24 hour community radio
broadcast.
As a presenter with FMV TV (Channel 7), Louise selected
the music for Ch 7's national Saturday morning fim, music, video show.
Louis has a comprehensive understanding of music business
management and operation and has an established network of contacts across
the music industry.

Isse Tolo Paepae (Jesse)

Iese Tolo Paepae (Jesse)
Jesse has over 12 years experience in the music industry.
As part of 'The X Factor's' winning pop group Random Jesse released
2 singles and 1 album including a Top 10 hit. As part of several cover
bands over the years - from duos to 10-piece outfits - Jesse wows the
audience every time.
Jesse's true strength is his vocal ability. He also
has a natural feel on drums and percussion as well as basics on guitar
and keys.
From recording in the SONY studios to producing his
own material, Jesse's learning curve escalates up the production ladder.
From 'Pro Tools' to live performance, his experience is obvious when you
see him work.

Tyson Clancy-Jones

Tyson Clancy-Jones
For the last sixteen years Tyson has been actively
involved in practicing and teaching music. He began playing keys at the
age of four and quickly picked up percussion and guitar. He attended Wavell
State High School in Brisbane where under the direction of Malcolm Bell,
he began a multi -instrumental career.
Inspired by artists like Stevie Wonder and Marvin
Gaye, Tyson began to sing and was heavily influenced by Motown and funk.
This inspired him to learn bass guitar, trumpet and saxophone.
In 2003 Tyson was awarded Best Rhythm Section Player,
Queensland at the Academy of Music Festival. After that he focusssed on
keys, drums and teaching. While studying full time at QUT Kelvin Grove
(B. Mus., and B. Sec Ed.), he taught 12 students, started learning trombone
and worked on vocals.
Tyson is a confident performer and teacher of percussion,
keyboard, brass and woodwind including flute, as well as guitar.
